Support and maintain current youth pathways activities
Support the Eastern CT Workforce Investment Board’s (EWIB) Eastern Advanced Manufacturing Alliance - Regional Sector Partnership (EAMA-RSP) YMPI programming needs from client
Work with all levels of the public-school systems to establish presence and schedule youth BOAT Programs, STEM activities, guest speakers, etc.
Guide youth referrals through the MPI enrollment process. Track and communicate youth MPI referral information to EWIB as needed
Regular communication with EWIB, EAMA-RSP coordinator, and Ready CT to inform about EB high school programs and opportunities for partner involvement.
Facilitate EAMA-RSP member participation in EB led YMPI activities Evaluate existing youth programs and provide quality feedback on effectiveness of the program
Provide key metrics as needed to internal and external partners
Develop, maintain, and update various reports as needed with client
Develop business presentations as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and ProficienciesÂ
Knowledge of all levels of public-school systems, processes and practices
Knowledge of occupations at client facilities
Must have client facing experience with strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain a cordial relation with different departments of the organization for proper coordination with partners
Must have good interpersonal and negotiation skills
Must be well organized and have detail-oriented approach
Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet, copier, printers, scanner and telephone
Ability and willingness to learn new systems, techniques and procedures
