Job Description

Material Process Assistant
East Hartford, CT
Contract
$40.41/hr

The candidate will work with and assist engineers by performing a variety of tasks associated with coating and alloy characterization and process development, including production support. The candidate must be able to work in a metallurgical laboratory environment, handle chemical reagents, and be able to gain proficiency in use of equipment such as furnaces, high temperature testing rigs, machining tools, surface prep and coating application equipment.

Basic Qualifications: Material Process Assistant

2 years experience
Associates Degree or higher
Metallography, operating microscopes, operating furnaces, mechanical work
