Contract – 1st, Std
Pay Rate:  $36.03/Hr.

Requirements:  Operations Line Leader
  • US Citizenship
  • Associate degree or equivalent and at least 4 years of related experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate business or technical field and four (4) years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related work experience in production/manufacturing/operations or similar environment. This person will be directly supervising the hour hourly workforce. We are not looking for candidates in higher level management (e.i plant manager, VP) but first line managers Ability to lead in a team-based manufacturing environment and make decisions with minimal supervision. Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools.

Required Skills:  Operations Line Leader 1. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties set forth in Section II above.
2. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
3. Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers;
4. Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents;
5. Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations;
6. Analyze, evaluate, develop and implement processes and systems within budget and adhere to time requirements and schedule.
Job Description:  Operations Line Leader
Ensures Operations performance against business requirements through the execution of day-to-day operations by leading manufacturing hourly workforce and being available to be the first level of elevation for the team. The Operations Leader is 100% responsible for product flow in order to meet and exceed both our internal and external customers’ needs. The Operations Leader is responsible for ensuring that all employees are working safely, according to work instructions, and challenging the team in order to continue to grow individually and as a team. Mentoring and coaching is a must for this role as it’s important for every team member to understand the “why” and be able to see the bigger picture, strategy, and vision. The Operations Leader role requires strong communication skills as this position will not only provide work direction to the team, but also provides shift hand-offs with other Operation Leaders, status/commits to Customers, Program Managers, Product Center Leaders, and more. Interfaces with the appropriate organization within Operations to ensure any changes which will impact assigned tasks have been appropriately communicated and addressed. Performs other related duties as required. This role is part of US-Controls. Performs other related duties as required.

Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:  Operations Line Leader
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 4 years of related experience; or a master’s degree in an appropriate business or technical field and four (4) years of related experience.
  • Previous experience supervising hourly employees. Experience utilizing business systems and tools that aid in managing labor and processes.
