Technical Writer
Carlsbad, CA
Contract
$37.50-$60.00/hr
The technical writer will write site quality management system procedures for a new facility. Scope encompasses materials & manufacturing research, development, and product production.
Works with direction from General Manager and Functional Manager / Leaders (Quality, Maintenance, Operations, Engineering). Compliant procedures for critical review. Issues and improves procedures for all work done on site that may affect product quality.
Required Education, Experience and Skills: Material Process Engineering
- Associates or equivilant
- Technical Writing (company procedures)
- Manufacturing experience in a Quality organization
- Ability to work independently, without finely detailed guidance.
- Familiarity with ISO9000 / AS 9100 - ISO9000 or AS9100 certified auditor
- Ability to establish consensus among stakeholders
- 9+ years experience
