We are seeking a Reliability Engineer for a full-time onsite contract role with a 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off). This position offers the potential to transition to a direct hire opportunity.
In this role, you will support a range of programs by performing reliability engineering analyses to influence product design early in the development lifecycle. You'll help define the appropriate scope of reliability work for each project, assess associated risks, and ensure alignment with customer requirements. Success in this role requires efficient execution within defined budgets and timelines, along with clear and effective communication of progress and findings to key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Conduct reliability engineering analyses across various programs
Define appropriate reliability scope and risk assessments for each project
Interpret customer reliability requirements and expectations
Complete reliability activities on schedule and within budget
Communicate technical progress and results to internal and external teams
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in reliability engineering, preferably supporting DoD contracts
Hands-on experience with solid rocket motors
Proficiency with reliability analysis tools such as ReliaSoft or Relex
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
