6H6FI3 - Numerical Control Programmer 3 - Washington
Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work. Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.
Required:
• High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years’ experience.
• Composite Fabrication & Techniques.
• NC Traditional CAD / CAM Systems.
• Trim, Drill, AFP, ATLM Equipment.
• Composite Tooling (such as mandrels and fixtures).
• Defect reduction, Root cause.
• Corrective action, Problem solving.
Preferred: Pre-Cure Composites Manufacturing:
• CATIA V5
• NS2/nesting experience
• OLT (Optical Laser Template)
• USK (Ultrasonic Knife)
• Automated Fiber Placement (AFP)/Composite Tape Laying Machines (CTLM) Post-Cure Composites Manufacturing:
• CATIA V5
• Vericut
• CATIA Advanced Machining Workbench
• Trim and Drill of composite parts
• Axis milling/machining of composite parts
