Position Type:     Aircraft General Repair Technician

Hourly rate: $33.80

Job Description:
* Maintains a limited number of systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components.
* Troubleshoots problems to isolate faulty components.
* Conducts routine functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment.
* Performs a variety of visual inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents.
* Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required.
* Works under general supervision.
* Maintains complex support equipment and systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components.
* Troubleshoots problems to isolate faulty components.
* Conducts complex functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment.
* Performs a variety of inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents.
* Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required.
* Creates and maintains maintenance, calibration and inventory tracking systems.
* Works with minimal direction.
* At the sole discretion of leadership, employee must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation
* Maintains a limited number of systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components.

* Conducts routine functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment.
* Performs a variety of visual inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents.
* Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required.
* Assist the Lead Technician as needed in daily accomplishments and tasking

This position requires an active US Current Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (required skill/experience):
* Experience maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment.
* Ability to work all shifts of a 24/7 work schedule.
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.

Preferred Qualifications (desired skills and experience):
* Experience using Microsoft Office Applications.
* General automotive servicing experience with an electrical, hydraulic, and internal combustion engine background.

Typical Education/Experience:
* Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
