Position: Commodity Manager
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Manage and leverage strategic partnerships of the supply base to meet the company's procurement requirements in terms of quality, delivery and cost.
Electronic component sourcing support - alternate identification, OEM partnership securing incremental supply. Working with Engineering on AVL alternates or new alternates.
Looking for individuals with a cross section of Electrical engineering (even associates degree) and supply chain experience - job is to close any shortages to business needs by proposing alternate solutions to incumbent design elements either through - working with suppliers and brokers to secure incumbent parts - or by proposing alternate engineering solutions.
Strong background in office (Excel - pivot tables, formulas, cross reference skills), ideally a candidate with SAP experience.
