Highly motivated professional to join as a Senior Manager, Contracts to oversee Non-Product and Service contracts
Energetic self-starter, experienced in contract negotiations
Ability to successfully implement legal strategy in support of business interests
Ability to communicate with influence stakeholders and improve department processes through deep knowledge and experience in the contracts function
Position Details:
Remote capacity
Travel on an as-needed basis, not to exceed 25%
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for drafting, generation, interpretation, and management of global and highly complex proposals and contract documents to ensure these documents properly reflect business objectives
Coaches and mentors junior professionals and reviews their work to ensure output is of quality and in accordance with business objectives
Advises management and organization of contractual rights and obligations to protect and mitigate the organization's legal and business interests
Manages multiple medium- to large-sized projects
Represents the organization on legal issues concerning contract matters
Provides legal advice on warranty and contract administration
Prepares legal documentation for legal and contract negotiations and relationships
Maintains historical contract database and records
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a University Degree and typically a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Experience with contract drafting and negotiations
Experience developing negotiation strategies and negotiations
Preferred Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate degree or paralegal certificate
Experience with multiple types of service agreements including licensing agreements, data privacy agreements, and consulting agreements
