Job Title: Fulfillment Coordinator (Temporary – Up to 8 Months)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Fulfillment Coordinator to join our Customer Service team on a temporary basis. This role is critical to ensuring that retailer purchase orders are accurately processed and fulfilled in a timely and cost-effective manner. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional communication skills, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the supply chain process. This assignment is expected to last up to 8 months and is not a temp-to-perm opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary contact for retailer accounts and internal sales managers.
Process purchase orders from receipt through shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain customer profiles in the order management system to meet account-specific requirements.
Accurately enter and update pricing, product specifications, dating terms, and promotional details.
Perform stock commitment processes to manage product availability.
Monitor and coordinate the shipment of allocated and special order items.
Investigate and resolve issues related to domestic and direct import orders.
Ensure timely delivery of products for promotions, advertisements, and customer events.
Communicate item availability, order status, and shipment tracking to customers and internal teams.
Maximize order fill rates while avoiding delays by initiating necessary order changes or cancellations.
Partner with distribution centers to facilitate on-time shipments.
Occasional overtime may be required to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Associate degree in business or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 1 year in a customer service or support role.
Proven ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on clear and timely information sharing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to anticipate and resolve issues efficiently.
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently in a dynamic work environment.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Understanding of EDI systems for transmitting purchase orders and invoices is a plus.
Strong organizational skills, mature judgment, and consistent attendance.
Demonstrates a growth mindset by embracing learning opportunities and feedback.
