Job Description: Cyber Systems Security Engineer
Seeking a Cyber Systems Security Engineer who will be responsible for identification and analysis of the cyber-attack surfaces and will implement the relevant cybersecurity controls on MFC products. The individual will be responsible for performing cybersecurity maintenance, to include continuous monitoring, security updates, patching, and hardening. The engineer will also be responsible for providing cybersecurity oversight our Systems and Software teams and providing the necessary documentation and artifacts to support and maintain any ATOs for MFCs products.
This position will require contractor to be onsite 80% of the time.
Other responsibilities can include: Cyber Systems Security Engineer
Providing embedded System Security Engineering design and implementation in all aspects of System Security Engineering (SSE) process in development of Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon Systems
Assessing and mitigating System Security threats/risks throughout the embedded Weapon System development life cycle
Validating System Security Engineering requirements decomposition, allocation and analysis for Test Systems
Implementing System Security Engineering solutions hardware and software
Verifying implementation of system security requirements
Analyzing weaknesses, vulnerabilities and threats against System Security posture on product designs
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Cyber Systems Security Engineer
5 + Years of Systems Engineering experience.
5 + Years of Software Engineering experience.
Embedded Systems - 2-4 years of experience
Systems Infrastructure - 2-4 years of experience
Engineering Design Principles - 2-4 years of experience
Security - 2-4 years of experience
Software Engineering - 2-4 years of experience
Systems Analysis & Design Skills - 2-4 years of experience
