On Site Supplier visits to support on time delivery and review Line of Balance
Job Description: Delivery Assurance Specialist
Track and report delivery status for assigned suppliers.
Weekly communication with vendor to ensure on time deliveries and drive pull-ins when possible, to meet program and customer needs.
Scheduled meetings/Email/voice communication
Track material dollar due ins and report loss or gains bi-weekly.
Attend Bi Weekly RYG meetings to advise supplier status for weekly/monthly/quarterly tracking.
Request Line of Balance from suppliers on parts for granular tracking as required.
Escalate delivery delays with cause to business group and Supply Chain Leadership as needed (Engineering/Quality/Program)
Update SAP as required for delivery dates to include document in non-printable text of SAP Purchase Order upon a date change and rationale.
Maintain Supplier open order tracker sheet daily.
Update mismatch tool on assigned suppliers for Program/Planner awareness.
