Manufacturing Execution Systems Engineer
Location: Branchburg, NJ
Hourly rate: $45.00 - $65.00

The role will involve supporting and developing the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) electronic batch records, along with related tools and system interfaces to meet business requirements. It includes deploying current systems, analyzing data, designing, programming, and/or implementing new systems or enhancements to existing systems, all in line with company standards and guidelines.
Required:
• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, preferred in pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
• At least 3 years of Pharmasuite Manufacturing Execution System platform experience required.
• Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analyses business processes and needs to recommend or implement changes to systems and/or procedures.
• Work with local business operations teams and global IT teams to support delivery of manufacturing solutions.
• Understand how the manufacturing execution systems and processes integrate with other critical enterprise systems like SAP.
• Provides training, documentation, and post-implementation support to users of the MES application and or systems.
• Coordinates or conducts technical testing and installation in collaboration with relevant users and systems personnel. Prepares project justification, defines scope and timeline, and ensures the project adheres to these commitments.
• Ensure compliance with Computer Systems Validation policies, standards, procedures and best practices.
• Develops and/or adheres to relevant procedures and standards. Ensures that support projects and/or requests align with the sites Information systems strategy.
• Support site readiness activities to facilitate site start-up and ensure smooth ongoing operations.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships cross-functionally.
• Coordinate, mentor & coach team members.
• Take initiative to identify and drive improvements.
