Electrical Engineer
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Hourly rate: $75.00 - $79.00
This is a part-time position for up to 25 hours a week.
Candidates must be local to the Grand Prairie, TX site.
Travel for supplier visit will be require for this role.
Description:
Seeking an Electrical Engineer for a missile development program. Tasks will include: Technical support to Supplier Management Teams (SMT); Develop electrical requirements, designs, Interface Control Documents (ICDs,) and drawings for items including oversight of two vendors' electrical design through preliminary design review (PDR) as well as prototype hardware development and integration into missile system. Conduct research, technical investigations, and problem resolution. Support system and subsystem design updates and release; lab testing and evaluation Provide on-site supplier support as required to perform design verification and qualification testing events. Reports efforts directly to Program Electrical Engineer Lead.
Required:
• Bachelors’ Degree in a STEM discipline.
• 6+ years’ experience with electrical background and experience working with electronics suppliers.
• 6+ years’ experience with digital, analog and power (i.e. mix signals) electrical background.
• Circuit Design, Design, Electrical, Electrical Troubleshooting, Electronics, Power Electronics, Safety, Supplier Management, Circuit Design, Electrical Diagnosis/Repair, Electrical Testing, Electronics, Knowledge of Electrical Technology, Read Electrical Schematics, Requirements Development, Safety, Safety Standards.
Preferred:
Systems, Electrical Standards, Systems Analysis & Design Skills.
Must be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
