Our client requires that candidates must have an active/current DoD Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL) to start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
High School Diploma with 4 years of work experience or equivalent experience, or associate's degree with 2 years of experience
Ability to use basic hand tools
O-level troubleshooting experience on military aircraft systems
Flightline use of support equipment
Formally trained in the maintenance and troubleshooting of aircraft systems
Basic working knowledge of all aircraft systems related to the type of aircraft qualified on
Working knowledge of Technical Orders and Manuals
Computer/Typing skills and experience with MS Office Applications
Reading and interpreting electrical fabrication and installation drawings.
Performing installation and troubleshooting of various electronic systems on the aircraft.
Normal/corrected sight to 20/20, and normal color vision.
Perform fabrication, installation and troubleshooting of control, power, video, fiber-optic and RF cables and harnesses on aircraft.
Tests, adjusts and replaces parts such as tires, wiring, and instruments using various test equipment, technical diagrams, maintenance manuals, and mechanics' tools.
Is familiar with the field's procedures, practices and concepts.
May perform quality control inspection for work done by other technicians.
Ensures documents and records are maintained.
Coordinate and inspect parts.
Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.

Perform mechanical sub-assembly fabrication.
Ability to use sheet metal modification tools.

Is familiar with the field's procedures, practices and concepts.
May perform quality control inspection for work done by other technicians.
Ensures documents and records are maintained.
