REQUIREMENTS:  Electrical/electronic Technician III
  • US Citizenship
  • 2-year technical degree or a Minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.
  • Proficient use of electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools and hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches.
  • Fabrication, assembly, test and inspection per engineering drawings, sketches and verbal instructions for cables and electrical enclosures
  • Assemble, rework and repair of circuit boards containing surface mount and through-hole components.
  • Conduct tests and generate report data.
  • Able to work as part of a group or team.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies
JOB DESCRIPTION:  Electrical/electronic Technician III Our client is seeking an experienced electrical/electronic technician to work in its Electrical Engineering Lab. This position will support complex electronic products and support equipment, design, development, fabrication, assembly, test, inspection, troubleshooting, rework and repair. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  Electrical/electronic Technician III
  • 2-year technical degree and 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.
  • Fabrication and assembly to precise tolerances and standards, and ability to understand complex engineering drawings and information.
  • Assist engineers in the design and development of new electronic systems cabling and test equipment.
  • Develop and prepare schematics, design specifications, and parts lists, or make recommendations regarding these items.
  • Review designs and specifications of test equipment for adequacy.
  • Cirris operator experience
  • Troubleshooting of electronic, electrical systems
  • Trained and proficient in manufacturing & quality requirements of IPC/WHMA-A-610, IPC-620 and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements.
