JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Work under general direction of Purchasing Supervisor/Manager and as instructed by upper-level Procurement Assistant where guidelines are not established.
2. Assign requisitions to buyers and reassign as necessary in Oracle.
3. Expediting existing purchase orders with suppliers.
4. Direct telephone and e-mail requests for general inquiries and routine instructions.
5. File/compile information as required/ updating system comments
SKILLS PREFERRED: Experience with Oracle Excellent communication skills Experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook/Teams)REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent plus one (1) year of specialized instruction in generalized office procedures and at least six (6) months of related experience; or a High School diploma or equivalent plus two (2) years of related experience.
