Financial Analyst
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay Rate: $29.20 - $33.00 (Education plus experience)
Financial Analyst - Contract Compliance is a role that is vital to the success of our sales and contracts teams. Tracks, analyzes sales data in relation to new or proposed contracts, and contract compliance. Provides information and recommendations to management to ensure contract terms and goals are aligned with customers and company's needs. Provides ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure understanding of reports or work through questions and/or concerns. Ensures that technological advances are integrated in insights generation processes. Scales expertise for future efforts and continuously streamlining and/or upgrading processes. Establish and maintain robust financial processes and financial controls to ensure integrity and reliability of financial compliance reports. Establish and maintain strong partnership with internal Finance colleagues as well as Business Partners as required. Understands and lives the Operating Principles, mindset and behaviors.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
* Researches variances and reports findings to stakeholders and management
* Monitor contract performance to maximize contract compliance and profitability
* Develop and maintain an understanding of contract components including sales data and its applicability and accessibility with respect to contracting
* Provide crucial information needed for RFPs and the broader customer journey
* Proactively troubleshoots issues and creates process improvements
* Comfortable coordinates with internal business partners
* Assists in the development of financial models to track sales vs contract commitments
* Works to gain an understanding of why in context of our purpose
* Documents current processes
Who you are:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields
* Proven analytical and accuracy skills. Requires attention to details
* Demonstrated sound judgment and decision making
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Strong Computer Skills including Excel and Google Suite
* One to three years of general industry or accounting/finance experience preferred
* Experience with contracts a plus
