Aviation Maintenance Technician
Location: Maxwell AFB, AL
Hourly rate: $35.00 - $40.00
Contractor benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k
2nd Shift: 3pm to 1:30am, but need to be available for 1st shift.
This position requires an active Interim US Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Required:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4 years of aviation maintenance experience.
• Military background.
• M240 weapons maintenance.
Preferred:
• Experience working with flare buckets.
Description:
Maintains equipment and systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components. Troubleshoots problems to isolate faulty components. Conducts complex functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment. Performs a variety of inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents. Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required. Trains and resolves problems for less experienced technicians. Works under general direction.
Must be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
