Requirements: Lab Assistant
* Knowledgeable in lab safety and 6S (Housekeeping)
* Demonstrated leadership, well-organized, potential to direct the work of others.
* Experience with the Quality processes regarding test equipment calibration requirements and AS 9100/ISO 9001 audits.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work well with others and on teams.
* Data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
* 2+ years of experience working within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment.
* Bachelors and a minimum of two years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of two years' experience.
Responsibilities: Lab Assistant
* Duties include coordination and execution of SI&T engineering Lab requirements.
* Responsibilities include maintaining and standardizing lab infrastructure, to meet program requirements. Responsibilities also include supporting AS 9100/ISO 9001 audits, DCMA audits and EHS audits.
* The Lab Lead shall ensure lab personnel operate to standard lab run rules and applicable SI&T policies within the lab, ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality controls, 6S, FOD/FOE, Equipment Calibration, Raytheon Property controls, ESD controls, Housekeeping, Shelf-life Controls, Preventative Maintenance, and Ergonomics.
* This position requires the ability to manage logistics of various SI&T competing contract requirements.
Desired Skill Sets: Lab Assistant
* Asset Management Systems experience (Aramis and SAP)
* Working Knowledge of RI&S lab run rules, policies, and procedures.
* Knowledge of ESD Controls (Garment control, wrist straps, SSWS, and monitoring)
* Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
* Highly motivated self-starter; Can work independently with a minimum of supervision.
* Active DoD Security Clearance This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
Success will be measured Success will be measured based on a check list that will track lab readiness per SI&T compliance. * The Lab Lead will work in a collaborative team environment verifying how lab personnel operate to standard lab run rules and applicable SI&T policies within the lab, monitoring compliance with Safety, Quality controls, 6S, FOD/FOE, Equipment Calibration, Raytheon Property controls, ESD controls, Housekeeping, Shelf-life Controls, Preventative Maintenance, and Ergonomics.
