Description: A challenging and engaging
Laboratory Technician position is available in the Oligonucleotide
Manufacturing Group for motivated individuals with a scientific/technical
background. The candidate will perform Oligonucleotide purification using High
Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), analytical
testing and various other manufacturing procedures.
Responsibilities:
1) Performing oligonucleotide purification and characterization by following detailed instructions outlined in production batch records and SOPs. The candidate will need to become proficient with
complex and technical equipment and processes.
2) The candidate will be expected to organize work effectively to ensure efficient utilization of time and materials and to complete all procedures in a cGMP compliant manner.
3) The candidate will also be expected to respond quickly and effectively to multiple and changing priorities, and to schedule work effectively to ensure that current and future needs are met.
4) The candidate will be required to accurately and legibly record methods, materials, and results in batch records, according to established formats, and to keep supervisor informed on status of all
projects and of significant findings and results in critical areas.
5) The candidate will often participate in, or lead, various Group projects, activities and initiatives as part of their career and personal development.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Scientific field, or equivalent mix of education and experience. (Bachelors
degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred.)
Experience: 0-4 years industry experience. (1+
years preferred)
Must be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
