Materials Analyst
Location: Tukwila, WA
Hourly rate: $67.00 - $72.00

Directs and initiates complex analysis and evaluation of parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications. Leads and directs analysis of failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures. Leads and directs efforts to generate test plans, identify and categorize failure, determine root cause and document results and recommendations. Leads the proposal, development and validation of revisions to procedures and specifications. Directs the design, development, fabrication, testing, evaluation and implementation of new concepts and technology to resolve complex problems and support continuous improvement. Consults with others to resolve complex or high-impact issues with suppliers and customers. Provides direction, consultation and technical expertise to internal and external customers. Coaches and mentors others.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree plus 9 or more years of experience OR combination of education and experience.
• Current ASNT Certification Level 3 in one or more of the following methods is required: Radiography, Ultrasound, or Eddy Current.
• Current Certification Level 3 in one or more of the following methods is preferred: Radiography, Ultrasound, or Eddy Current.
• NDT certification level 3.
• Aircraft Structure.
• Computer Aided Design Tools.
• Design Concepts & Techniques.
• Non-Destructive Eval Processes.
• Quality Tech Documentation.
• Process Management Skills.
Must be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
