Hours: 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm), 3rd Shift (10pm-6am)
Pay Rates: 2nd Shift $19.50/Hr., 3rd Shift $20.00Hr.

OT Hours/Week: 8 after training
Requirements:Machine Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shifts
Typically requires HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED,
2 years of relevant experience is required
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
Job Summary: Machine Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shifts
The purpose for an operator at this level is to learn and train on the basic understandings of all Machining specific operations. Operators have the basic level ability to set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts with immediate supervision by a certified machine operator (level II or above). Follow established standard work under immediate supervision in efforts to obtain certification within 120 days. Operator follows and complies with established standard work practices under immediate supervision. The operator will typically refer to problems or deviations to more experienced operators including Lead Technicians, Supervisors or Engineers. Primary Responsibilities:Machine Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shifts
Learn how to set up and operate precision manual and/or computerized machining centers according to standard work.
Learn how to adjust machine feed/spindle speeds and the changing of tooling and cutters per machining.
Learn how to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Understand and follow quality testing techniques. Learn how to inspect product using precision gauges, measuring instruments and equipment.
Demonstrate proficiency in Manufacturing Documentation and Labor Transactions.
Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position.
Actively participates in the Continuous Improvement process as well as safety related activities.
Working extended shifts/overtime as required by the business
Some Holiday hours may be required based on business need
Additional Comments: Machine Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shifts
OT: Overtime would kick-in AFTER being fully trained and certified (this would be after about 120 days). OT requires about 8hrs/week. This can be worked through the week depending on machine availability and/or the facility is open from 6am-noon on Saturdays and occasionally on Sundays for people to get their overtime in. Preferred Qualifications: Machine Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shifts
Manufacturing background
Manual dexterity to perform tasks associated with machine operations
Ability to learn how to read and understand prints.
Computer experience (e-mail, print documents, internet) and ability to learn how to operate a computer to access prints and/or specified work instructions
Basic shop math including knowledge of Geometric Tolerances
Basic knowledge with identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems
Ability to learn basics of the position within first 3 months of employment
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management
