JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE:Â Â Â Â Â Â Maintenance Technician III Duties and Responsibilities:
Capabilities in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, control logic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines with a strong working knowledge of Makino systems
Perform diversified duties to install, repair and maintain production and plant facility equipment
Provide scheduled and unscheduled repairs of production equipment as needed
Ability to perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
Complete regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
 Work Conditions and Americans with Disabilities Requirements:
Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration
Elevated noise level
Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day
Must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 50 pounds with assistance
Constant exposure to general shop conditions, including machine noise and metal dust
Exposure to environmental elements when working outside in winter as well as summer
Exposure to hazardous waste when handling bulbs, paints, and other RCRA wastes
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma/GED or secondary education
5+ years of Maintenance experience with an emphasis in Makino systems and Fanuc Controls
Strong mechanical and industrial skills that can be applied to a variety of situations including, but not limited to, electrical, carpentry, machining, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC and plumbing
1st shift – 7:00 – 3:30
Contract to perm
On call at times – 2 hours call in pay
Must be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
