Marketing & Communications Specialist - Integrated Marketing & Campaigns
Location: Broomfield, CO
Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite per week
What You’ll Do:
  • Partner with the Branding & Marketing Manager to develop strategic advertising campaigns that focus on key business goals and build the creative strategy and message for the Aerospace division. 
  • Build relationships with media and advertising vendors and analyze the best use of advertising resources to achieve business goals and foster strong brand recognition.
  • View external messaging efforts wholistically, including partnering with editorial and sponsorship teams, to ensure advertising alignment for collateral and messaging with branding, strategic priorities and key audiences across all communication channels.
  • Report on the metrics and opportunities for growth for each campaign to build a long-term strategy for advertising success.
  • Support the writing of speaking engagements and award nominations.
  • Support the development of integrated marketing campaigns to help achieve the highest priority business goals.
  • Partner with subject matter experts, and the larger Marketing & Communications team to conduct market and audience research, identify communications goals, develop messaging, identify and execute marketing strategies and collect analytics and performance metrics.
  • Partner with the Customer Engagement & Events team and subject matter experts to coordinate the marketing strategy for high-profile external events and tradeshows to achieve business goals, including developing messaging, coordinating the creation of marketing materials and graphics, collecting analytics and performance metrics and identifying sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
  • Support the Sponsorship & Memberships Lead in strategic planning areas including association membership opportunities and plans for reaching specific strategic business goals. 
  • Maintain required records and reports in accordance with policies and government regulations.  
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the SBU/SSU and the Company.  Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary. 

What You’ll Need:
  • BS/BA in a related field plus 2 or more years related experience.
  • Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of related experience. Two years of related experience may be substituted for each year of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • Professional experience writing and leading advertising strategies and campaigns is a must.
  • Attention to detail and ability to schedule and maintain multiple simultaneous campaigns. 
  • Professional experience working with ad vendors and building relationships. 
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Professional experience leading marketing campaigns.
  • Experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting marketing data.
  • Experience working under brand guidelines.
  • A creative eye for design and branding that carries through layout design, photography, videography, typography, etc.
  • Aptitude for approaching concrete goals with strategic thinking to achieve them.
  • Creative and conceptual thinker that is also organized, demonstrates attention to detail and can develop and execute a plan for implementation. 
  • Self-initiative with demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement new ideas without being prompted. 
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience working with senior level leaders, including executives.
  • Ability to translate and synthesize highly-technical information into strategic marketing messages.
  • Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously, under deadline pressure with fast turn arounds. 
  • Background experience coordinating with graphic designers in software such as Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop on marketing collateral.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Teams, Word and PowerPoint. 
  • If not familiar with industry, ability to take initiative to understand company and learn about products, capabilities and markets. 
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills, new products or technical knowledge; stay current on new trends, ideas, technologies.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • The following experience is preferred:  
    • Experience increasing brand awareness among key target audiences.
    • Experience performing market research.
    • Experience working with marketing analytical tools and platforms.
