Job Description: Mechanical Engineer
Electro-Mechanical Engineer/Electronic Packager
Individual will be required to be the responsible engineer for a new Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) for Sniper capable of housing a Modular Radio assembly based on 3U cards. Individual will at times also support production hardware and work directly with Fire Control Factory and Ocala Manufacturing Engineers to quickly react and develop solutions when problems arise. Individual will be responsible for packaging design updates and design documentation processing including Requirements/Concepts (RC) Design Assurance (DA) Reviews, Implementation (I) DA Reviews, Pre-Release (PR) DA Reviews, EPCAD input packages and fully released drawings. Candidate should have excellent communication skills as they will be interfacing with EE, SE, PS, Planning, Program Management, Prod Ops and ME in a team dynamic. Additional Preferred Experience: Mechanical Engineer
Knowledge and design of electronics chassis, and card guides is highly desirable.
Prior RF knowledge is preferred.
