Duties: Mechanical Manufacturing Technician - 3rd Shift This position is an entry-level opportunity designed for operators to train and develop a foundational understanding of calibration-specific operations. The Mechanical Manufacturing Technician will learn to prepare and assemble components for final or sub-assemblies under direct supervision by a certified calibrator. The operator will be responsible for setting up and operating production equipment to ensure flow, spray angle, and quality meet product specifications and tolerance levels. Operators are expected to follow standard work procedures under general supervision to obtain certification and will refer any problems or deviations to more experienced personnel, including Lead Technicians, Supervisors, or Engineers.
Manual dexterity to perform assembly and calibration tasks
Ability to learn to read and understand prints
Basic computer proficiency (e-mail, printing documents, internet) with the ability to operate a computer to access prints and work instructions
Basic shop math skills, including knowledge of Geometric Tolerances
Basic ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems
Ability to learn job fundamentals within the first 3 months of employment
Strong communication skills
