Job Description
Duties:
**Candidates must be U.S. Citizens without Dual Citizenship**
**Schedule- 4/10s. Will work onsite and then transition to Hybrid schedule. Candidate will cover for Aerojet Rocketdyne employee going on maternity leave**
**Possibility of role converting to direct hire. Depending on managers need at end of contract**
Under general direction, the Operations Data Support (Level 3) independently determines approaches to objectives, which demonstrates a complete understanding and application of principals, concepts and practices.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Preforms data input from source documents into database
- Coordinates problem resolution and reconciliation across multi-functional boundaries
- Investigates discrepancies or inaccuracies and makes corrections within prescribed limits
- May maintain several database structures
- Develops ad hoc repots within the computer system to retrieve information for review and verification purposes
- Creates statistical reports to measure norms and trends
- Provides administrative support duties as required
- May provide work leadership to less senior operations data support personnel
- Thorough knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and graphic packages
Skills:
- Be able to multi task and go in the plant to retrieve paperwork
- Comprehensive knowledge of processes, practices and procedures in the area of assignment
- Ability to translate system data onto spreadsheets or charts for subsequent analysis
- May require the ability to read and interpret blueprints and other function specific documents
- Thorough knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and graphic packages
- Thorough knowledge of database file structures to facilitate complex ad hoc report generation.
Education:
High school or GED but some college a plus. Would like at least five years experience.
