Job Description:
Maintain schedule data across multiple CMAV/CNO and commercial projects. • Create project schedules to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates according to key milestones, production forecasts, or customer work specifications and drawing orders. • Maintain and perform validation of project schedule configurations to meet industry standards for quality health check requirements for status and reporting. • Organize and meet with production and subcontractors to gather status and review impact to key milestones and events. • Provide project schedule analysis to Project Team, listing critical path activities to key milestones and events, displaying activities that are behind schedule to baseline. • Ensure compliance with company scheduling procedures to set and maintain baseline schedules. • Maintain continuous communication with Customer, Project Managers and Project Teams on the progress of the project and schedule • Prepare schedule narratives describing the status of assigned projects with weekly deliverables. • Create “what if” scheduling scenarios based on potential new and growth work. • Ensure that requirements of the safety handbook are properly followed and enforced.
SKILLS:
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DBIDS - detail below • Must have strong written and oral communication skills • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint) • Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume production environment • Must be physically and medically qualified to wear required personal protective equipment, • Must have Microsoft Project, Primavera, or Open Plan experience • Minimum 2 years Ship Repair or Navy experience, • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

While most of the work will be done at BAE’s office at FL-Jacksonville-8500 Heckscher Dr-(FL090), the contractor will eventually need to visit Mayport Naval Base, on occasion. This base requires DBIDS access. The assignment is contingent upon the contractor being able to obtain and maintain a DBIDS badge. For information on DBIDS, please visit https://www.cnic.navy.mil/Operations-and-Management/Base-Support/DBIDS/ . It is the responsibility of the contractor and their staffing agency to understand these requirements in full. Do NOT submit the DBIDS form to BAE, nor to Acro. Later, during the assignment (the hiring manager will say when), the contractor and their agency will need to work directly with Mayport Naval Base security.
