Contract Print Production Coordinator – Creative Services On-site Role | Temporary Assignment
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Print Production Coordinator to join a dynamic creative production team on a contract basis. This role supports the end-to-end production of graphics and print materials for marketing, displays, and visual merchandising. Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Production Support:
Assist in executing all phases of print production with precision, including layout preparation, file handling, and machine operation.
Software Proficiency:
Use industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel). Willingness and ability to learn print-specific programs like ONYX Thrive RIP is essential.
Creative & Technical Skills:
Apply foundational knowledge of design principles, layout, and color theory to ensure output quality and consistency. Basic creative skills are required to understand and support visual expectations.
Hands-On Production Tasks:
Execute standardized graphic production assignments according to pre-set instructions and specifications. Operate and maintain printing equipment and CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
Maintenance & Inventory Management:
Maintain production equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure all tools are functioning properly. Track and manage inventory, including ordering and stocking substrates, media, and consumables.
Workplace Organization:
Keep the production area clean, organized, and safe. Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a professional, efficient working environment.
Reporting & Communication:
Create clear and accurate status updates and progress reports to ensure production milestones and timelines are met.
Requirements:
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office tools.
Comfortable learning and using production-specific software tools like ONYX Thrive RIP.
Basic understanding of design concepts, print production, and layout standards.
Experience or familiarity with graphics and carpentry tools is a plus.
Ability to manage physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs overhead.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality.
Excellent team player with the ability to follow direction and work independently.
This role is ideal for someone who blends creative intuition with technical execution and is comfortable in a production environment. You’ll help ensure that high-quality visual assets are delivered on time, every time.
