Collaborate with Operations to set planned build dates and monitor performance to plan
Work material release plans to support MRP and customer schedules
Work with operations to identify constraint operations to optimize material flow
Ensure material flow to achieve quality, delivery targets, and overall value stream health
Interface with various business functions such as Operations, Engineering, Quality, Customer Support, Finance and HR to achieve cell goals and companys objectives
Utilize SAP to track material and record operation commits dates
Work with procurement to understand raw material impacts and develop mitigation plans
Track and monitor inventory with that have excessive days in production
Maintenance of safety stocks and kanbans
Excess, Obsolescence and general Inventory management and reporting, ensuring targets are met and improvements are continued to be made
Attend daily production meetings and other adhoc meetings as dictated by Operations or Program Management
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
A University Degree and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 5 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; SAP experience
Effective communications and organizational skills to work in cross-functional/international business environment to drive supplier performance reviews and improvements
Team-player with high standards of performance to achieve company goals
Preferred Qualifications:
APICS certification preferred
Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or any other related field
2 years of relevant production planning and control experience in fast paced environments
