Job Summary:Â Â Project Engineer Collins Aerospace is seeking a Project Engineer to support Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS) hardware for the Orion program. This position will take direction from the Orion Platform Chief Engineer and the Orion Program Chief Engineers to support qualification efforts, procurement, and production hardware assembly and test. The candidate should have the ability to:
Lead Engineering Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) for design and development activities
Support verification planning and closeout activities
Support hardware at our suppliers and on the assembly floor
Engineering support of hardware includes:Â Project Engineer
Dispositioning non-conforming material in SAP
Responding to Supplier Requests for Information (SRIs)
Leading failure investigations to determine root cause and corrective action
Managing Engineering Changes
Providing Engineering support during customer and supplier meetings
