Perform testing of various laboratory assays (e.g. pH, Endotoxin, Bioburden).
Follow company policies and procedures
Perform water sampling and Environmental Monitoring
Perform reagent preparation
Perform laboratory sweeps
Apply basic theory and technical principles to address problems.
Implement improvement opportunities that support Quality Control.
Perform other duties as requested by managers to support QC activities.
Qualifications:
BS Degree in science or at least 2 years of work experience in similar roles.
Flexibility to working different shifts
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must have the ability to interpret and apply quality standards to operational activities.
Work Environment / Physical Demands / Safety Considerations
Work onsite in an office and laboratory environment.
Work a 4x10 schedule (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat) 0630-1700
Lift up to 25 pounds may be required.
Ability to enter data into a computerized system for up to 30% of your time.
Ability to sit, stand and move within work space for extended
Environment requires that gowning with gloves and steel toe boots be worn. Also, no makeup or jewelry can be worn when working in the clean room environment.
Will work with hazardous materials and chemicals.
