The Opportunity:
Our client is currently seeking a Contractor for the US Sales Finance team in El Segundo, CA. This role is a key member of the customer business team, demonstrating ownership of the business as well as managing all financial aspects of our client’s relationship with the nations largest retailers. The position reports into a Sr. Manager, Sales Finance.
What Your Impact Will Be:
* Key Responsibilities
o Manage Trade Spend process, providing research and documentation to facilitate the deduction process
o Research audit claims for validity
o Maintain monthly Accounts Receivable goals
o Maintain and track trade spend against forecast
o Contribute to Month, and Quarter close processes, providing analysis and reconciliation necessary
o Work cross functionally with Sales Directors, FP&A, Accounting, Controllers office, and Marketing
What Were Looking For:
* BA/BS (Finance preferred)
* 2+ years work experience, preferably in a fast-moving consumer goods company & commercial experience
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel proficiency required)
* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
* High degree of initiative, drive, confidence, and resilience - ability to develop the team against a multi-year agenda
* Flexible and teamwork oriented
