- US Citizenship
- Our client requires that candidates must have an active/current DoD Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL) to start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree with 9-15 years of experience, or master's degree with 7-13 years of experience
- Required Minimum skills:
- 1. Airframe primary structure layout and sizing
- 2. Hand/Excel based analysis of aerospace structures
- 3. NASTRAN and PATRAN or HyperMesh
Familiarity with Slim, Vision, and IDAT a plus
Job Description: Structural Analysis-Stress/DADT/Dynamics/FEA/FEM
- Uses computational methods and tools in a specialized field (strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, etc.).
- Responsible for establishing structural specifications and performing structural analysis on new designs of primary and secondary airframe structure.
- Experience in stress analysis of subsystems and subsystems installations desired.
- Required experience with structural mechanics simulation software including NASTRAN and PATRAN.
- Experience using Altair HyperMesh as a pre-processor and TMP Vision for post-processing desired.
- Experience with CATIA V5/3DX highly desired.
- Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX operating systems.
- Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings and models.
