Systems Engineer
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Hourly rate: $70.00 - $72.00

This role will require onsite support full-time at Missiles and Fire Control headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX, working a 4/10 Flex schedule. Contractor can work partially remote but must be available to come onsite when needed.
We are seeking a talented engineer that enjoys holistic system thinking to support the system design and requirements (SDR) through the development, integration and verification activities for integration programs that take the PAC-3 MSE Missile Segment and extend its functionality to other combat systems.
Description:
• Work with interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze and document system requirements in DOORS.
• Assist with system architecture analysis using tools like Cameo to assess and capture system use cases, interfaces, timing, and designs.
• Capture verification artifacts to support Functional Configuration Audit (FCA).
Required:
• Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering (Undeclared), Mechanical Engineering, Other STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) degrees considered.
• 3 + years working experience in DOORS.
• 3 + years Hands-on experience with Cameo.
• Familiarity with system design concepts and tradeoffs.
• Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment.
Preferred:
• Experience with C++, MATLAB is a plus.
• Familiarity with fundamentals of missile system concepts.
• Prior experience with DoD projects, particularly Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3)/IAMD is a plus.
• Desire to learn detailed missile/ground system/fire control theory and operation.
Must be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
