JOB DESCRIPTION: Engineering Talent Acquisition Recruiter
Our client is looking for an Engineering Talent Acquisition Recruiter to help attract the best and brightest to our company. This fully remote position is fast paced, and you will be joining a fun and cohesive team where you will enjoy every other Friday off. In this role you will provide the highest level of talent acquisition services for one of their Sectors. You will have the opportunity to advance their brand across numerous markets and professional communities while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the client's selection process. Use your full life cycle recruiting experience to maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community. A wide degree of creativity, near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization is required. In this exciting and challenging role, you will have the opportunity to: Engineering Talent Acquisition Recruiter
Work with managers to ensure an understanding of job duties, job responsibilities, and required/desired skills during intake meetings
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract additional candidates
Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the client's leaders and other HR team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.
Prepare candidates for interviewing with the clients and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, business strategy, organization, job descriptions, and expectation-setting.
Extend offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within the guidelines of company policies.
Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates and searches through the client's applicant tracking tool to ensure being audit-ready at all times.
Consult with business on staffing and recruitment policies, ensuring compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity mandates, compensation guidelines and other client processes.
Position will be remote, but candidates must be able to drive to a client Systems facility if needed.
This role will begin as a contract role with the potential to convert to a full-time permanent position.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Engineering Talent Acquisition Recruiter
Defense industry experience including OFCCP regulations highly preferred
Recruiting for the following Engineering fields: Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Systems and Computer Science.
Recruiting for Niche Engineering disciplines to include Electronic Warfare, AI/ML, RF, Cyber etc.
Recruiting for Program Engineering Managers in the Defense arena
Recruiting for candidates with various levels of DoD clearances
Demonstrated ability to source, qualify and hire diverse candidates
Certifications and/or training in the field (such as AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) is favorable
Experience using Kenexa Brass Ring is favorable
