Technical Writer
Location: Greenville, SC
Hourly rate: $35.00 - $39.50

100% Onsite.
This position requires candidates with experience in the aviation/aircraft maintenance field and experience writing technical orders, work instructions, and aircraft work documents. Solumina experience is preferred.
Job Description:
Interpret aircraft engineering blueprints and other aviation technical documents to write, in clear and concise language, aircraft work instructions enabling structural, electrical, avionics, and general maintenance technicians to perform aircraft maintenance, modifications, repairs, and overhaul. Written instructions may also include requirements for parts fabrication. Written documents also include required support and test equipment, tooling, materials, and labor budgets. The planner/writer leads sessions to gain stakeholder approvals of Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Customers. Additional responsibilities include incorporation of approved changes from stakeholders and referenced technical data.
Required:
• Bachelors’ degree plus 2 years’ experience.
