Job Summary: Test Tech 2
Performs systems PM functions by doing one or more of the following:
a) Reviews equipment performance and works with process engineers to suggest PM frequencies and effectiveness.
b) Develops and analyzes SPC data on test stands.
c) Performs moderately complex system repairs and PMs.
d) Monitors first pass yield data to predict wear on test equipment and can suggest improvements.
Responsibilities for this position include: Test Tech 2
Must be proactive and hands on in the maintenance an repair of test equipment.
Must be able to work from diagrams, technical manuals, schematics and written and verbal instructions to perform troubleshooting and repair as required.
Able to diagnose and repair or replace worn parts in factory equipment using guidelines and established procedures. Assist other PM Technicians to troubleshoot complex equipment problems.
POC for the SST systems for maintenance, repair, PMs and assist in troubleshooting. Works with Tech Ops as required.
Your job duties involve routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and machine setup.
Closes all productions alerts and adds details of the repair timely and efficiently.
Coordinate and schedule the yearly OEM PM visits and equipment down situations as required. Make sure that POs are in place or created to support these visits.
Assist in the purchase of equipment, SPARES and tools.
Ensure that critical SPARE parts are on hand to support the SSTs, ATPH and ATP and other critical equipment.
Ensure that machines and equipment are in working condition. Identify operating challenges that might lead to equipment failure.
Work with peers and management to develop, implement and refine Preventative Maintenance actions for manufacturing equipment. Implement SPC and monitor the health of test equipment.
Provide technical recommendations (advice and/or reports) for any equipment issues.
Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work via the GPM database.
Expected to work with a minimum guidance.
Performs other responsibilities and duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents.
