Quality Control Analyst
Location: South San Francisco, CA
Hourly rate: $25.00 - $35.00

The job responsibilities within the Analytical Development and Quality Control-Protein Analytical Technologies-QC department are the following:
• Provide general support for GMP testing laboratories.
• Support and collaborate with other departments.
• Assist with document processing and archiving.
• Maintaining controlled temperature units and small lab equipment.
• Ordering, stocking, and maintaining supply levels of chemicals, reagents, and lab supplies.
• Routine maintenance of GMP labs to ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, and safety regulations.
• Reagent preparation.
Required:
• High School Diploma or GED. Associates’ Degree (or higher) in Life Science preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team, handle multiple projects, demonstrate initiative, strong attention to detail, ability to excel in a fast paced environment is a must. Must also be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with basic aseptic techniques and sample handling.
• Familiarity with basic analytical laboratory equipment, such as balances, pipettes, spectrophotometers, laminar flow hoods and glassware.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proficient written and verbal skills are required.
Preferred:
• Good computer skills are required, and experience working with Google Applications is recommended, and familiarity working with electronic management databases such as Electronic Lab Notebook and Veeva is a plus.
• GMP experience preferred with particular emphasis on Quality Control.
Must be U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.
